Pregnancy Reformer 

Join our specialised reformer class for pregnant people to gain strength, stretch, bend, breathe and prepare for birth. Run by qualified pre and postnatal experts, you can enjoy these classes knowing you are in safe hands. We will support your pregnancy through all trimesters confidently and help you prepare for the physical demands of birth and motherhood.

Mums & Bubs Reformer 

Bring your baby along and let us guide you safely back into exercise with the support of the reformer bed. This class supports new mummas with their post partum recovery – rebuilding foundational strength, pelvic floor & core function and brings new mums together. *Join in the free Mother Gather session after each Tuesday class!

Teen Reformer

A fun, challenging 45 minute class to support healthy growth and development in teenagers. We focus on strengthening the main muscle groups and addressing posture. Get your teen moving in a safe and supportive environment.

Reformer Pilates (50+)

This class helps to maintain all round strength and functional movement in the body – with a mix of stretching, strengthening all muscle groups, rotation, bending and extending  the spine for healthy backs, it is the perfect class for ongoing physical wellness into empowered ageing.

Reformer Pilates 

A reformer class for everyone, including pre/post natal and general strengthening for all bodies. With a focus on whole body mindful movement, expect to feel lighter, taller, more flexible and stronger after this class. It’s the perfect all-rounder! We provide different layers and modify exercises to meet your individual needs.

Power & Strength Reformer

An intermediate-advanced level class for an increased challenge all round! Get ready for dynamic movement, stability & coordination challenges, increased load & FUN! Not suitable for beginners.

Athletic Reformer

With a focus on increased cardio challenges mixed with the classic reformer exercises we know and love, pick up the tempo with this class and feel the shine afterwards! Add this into your weekly workout routine for a bit of extra oomph!

Clinical Studio Pilates

A small group of 4 utilising Clinical Pilates equipment and a personalised program. For people needing movement rehabilitation due to injury, pain, or lack of mobility. An initial assessment is required before this class.

Initial Assessment — 60 mins

Private 1hr consultation for those:
a) new to pilates
b) wanting to join Clinical Pilates sessions, or
c) who have special considerations that may affect your movement.

In this session we discuss your personal needs and goals, assess your current movement function, and go over the basics of pilates including utilising breath, activation of deep core muscles, pelvic floor health, and postural imbalances that may cause pain. 

Clinical Program Show — 60 mins

Private 1hr consultation following on from those who have previously had an Initial Assessment for Clinical Pilates classes.

During this session, you will be guided through your new individualised program to become familiar with the exercises and ready to join our small group Clinical Pilates classes.

Village Birth is more than a pilates studio. We have built a Motherhood Community. Our unique Pregnancy Reformer Pilates and Mums & Bubs classes are specifically designed to support women in both body and mind — for optimal health and wellbeing.

Our beautiful studio is a safe, judgement-free and fun environment for mums to move their bodies, breathe mindfully, stretch and strengthen — and meet other mums as well. Our Village kitchen is stocked with tea and cookies so you can make a cuppa, sit on the couch, and soak up the good vibes!

Your body is the first home your baby will ever know. It is also the incredible vehicle that grows, nourishes and births your baby into this world. It makes sense to look after it pre and postnatal. Mums need this for their own physical and mental wellbeing, so put yourself first and connect with our Motherhood Village.

At Village Birth, the classes are small and intimate to provide hands-on support and quality instruction. Come as you are — sleep deprived, oily hair, ugg boots or crying baby — we will get you moving. Expect warmth, laughter, connection and down-to-earth conversations in a relaxed environment. It’s more than just exercise!

There are many physical changes that occur to a body during pregnancy and new motherhood, which is why exercises need to be modified for safety and individual needs. Knowing you are being guided with attention, care and someone with experience is important.
